Day IV, upcoming critique

Tomorrow is my first critique, my studio  progress thus far:

Blocking in Goblin Market and this untitled more expressive work. Both quite large, the second about 8 feet high, both in rough stages.
Pardon the weird shadow, it is an open ceiling space .
So that’s it, wish me luck!

  1. I’ve loved Govlin Market since I read it as teenager, so I was mighty pleased to see you tackle it Leonard, and it’s looking great so far, you bring the story to life in your own, unique way. I’ve never worked on such a large scale as the second image, it looks exciting and great fun!

    1. Isn’t it a wonderful poem? Each time I read it I feel as if I have never read it before .
I love working large, I used to be a decorative mural painter so the scale is familiar, but golly , it uses up a lot of paint:)
